С»ÆƬÊÓƵ is a new charter member of SEA Change, an initiative of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, in which universities commit to their systemic transformation into more diverse, equitable and inclusive spaces where a full range of talent can succeed in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine.

Peggy Shadduck is vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. She serves as the senior officer responsible for overall leadership of the С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Regional Campus system. Her role promotes student enrollment and academic success and is responsible for expanding the visibility, influence and effectiveness of С»ÆƬÊÓƵ as a catalyst for regional development.
С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Breaks Ground for Future Home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship
С»ÆƬÊÓƵ officially broke ground on Crawford Hall, the future home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, on March 8 in a ceremony attended by more than 400 people, including university officials, donors, alumni, students, elected officials and special guests.
С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees Approves Establishing New Bachelor of Social Work Degree
The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Bachelor of Social Work degree during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held March 8. The new degree was developed based on the high demand for licensed social workers within the areas surrounding С»ÆƬÊÓƵ’s Regional Campuses. The program will be offered on the Ashtabula, Salem and Tuscarawas campuses.

Earl K. Miller, Ph.D., and Marlene M. Wicherski Pledge $2 Million to Support Brain Health Research at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ
С»ÆƬÊÓƵ alumnus Earl K. Miller, Ph.D., and his wife, Marlene M. Wicherski, have pledged $2 million to support research programs and students in С»ÆƬÊÓƵ’s Brain Health Research Institute. The Brain Health Research Institute is a recently established, cross-disciplinary institute that focuses on research and education of brain health across the lifespan.
