From Kent to Cambridge: Alumna Ya'el Courtney to Study Neuroscience at Harvard University

Throughout her time at С»ÆÆ¬ÊÓÆµ, Ya'el Courtney completed a Senior Honors Thesis/Project, authored several published peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at several national and international conferences. As she continues her education at Harvard University, she intends to conduct a significant amount of research focusing on psychiatric diseases.

Emmaleigh Given recently spent three summers and two winters in a remote biological reserve in the middle of the rainforest in the Alajuela Province of Costa Rica, where she has and will spend several months conducting research on community ecology, and she has one more trip planned. Being hunted by unseen predators isn’t the way most researchers conduct their work. But for some, it’s just part of the day.

Models worked the runway which flowed from the catwalk in the Rockwell Auditorium and out into the second-floor atrium, giving viewers an up-close glimpse at the construction of the student-made garments.
