Miranda Evans, senior art education major, was recognized as a SAGE award honoree for 2022. Jack McWhorter, professor of art at С��Ƭ��Ƶ at Stark, passed away on May 1, 2022 after a brief illness. He was a professor of painting at С��Ƭ��Ƶ at Stark for 32 years and also served as the coordinator for the studio art program, the galleries, and the regional Scholastic Art Awards. Professor McWhorter was also an alumnus, earning his B.F.A (’76) and M.F.A. Janice Lessman-Moss, professor of textiles, is retiring this summer after more than 40 years of service at the School of Art.
