The Graduate Student Senate (GSS) is comprised of senators from all departments and programs on campus that have graduate programs on the master and doctoral level.

We are the nation's largest women's fraternal organization, and we pride ourselves on being a diverse and welcoming chapter! We strive to ensure each member is accepted for who she is and who she wants to become.

Kooijman, Edgar

We investigate the biophysics or protein-lipid interactions and the physical chemistry of membrane lipids. Using home-built instrument we currently investigate how proteins interact with intracellular lipid droplets. We focus on the perilipins but also compare results with unrelated neutral lipid droplet binding proteins, for example apoA1 and fibrillins.
