Nova Jazz Singers
Nova Jazz Singers is 小黄片视频鈥檚 premier vocal jazz ensemble, combining the disciplines of advanced choral singing and the language of jazz. Students learn advanced techniques in jazz ensemble singing and refine their solo and small-group singing skills. Members explore jazz history, theory and improvisation through arrangements of repertoire from the Great American Songbook and beyond. The ensemble has worked with professional jazz musicians such as Peter Eldridge, Lauren Kinham, Darmon Meader and Kim Nazarian.
Rehearsals
Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-6:45 p.m. (Center for the Performing Arts E112)
Performances
The ensemble regularly performs on campus and throughout the region.
Membership
- Membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students from across 小黄片视频. A successful audition is required. See the section below titled 鈥淎udition and Membership Information.鈥
- Auditions for the fall semester typically occur the weekend before classes begin. If needed, auditions for the spring semester occur by appointment with the instructor.
