- Student Organization Handbook: Please review the Student Organization Handbook (PDF) to ensure that your organization is following all proper policies and procedures.
- Organization Constitution: Please ensure that you pass your organization’s constitution onto the next leaders, to ensure that they can make the proper adjustments to the document. Sample Constitution
- Documents such as constitutions, policies and procedures, organization mission statements, leadership position descriptions, calendars, financial/budget records, previous meeting minutes, and so forth should be passed on to new leadership.​
- Make a list of important people, emails, and phone numbers that would be beneficial for your new leaders to have that assisted in making your time in the organization easier.
- If your organization has social media accounts, shared drives, or other important accounts (e.g., Bursar's Office, Amazon) that requires usernames and passcodes; be sure these get passed on so that proper access is given. CSI does not keep inventory of these accounts.
- Start these transitions as early as possible to allow for a smooth transition and allow time for the new leaders to ask questions or clarify information.
